Ouseburn Farm

I'm very lucky to be working in the wonderful city of Newcastle upon Tyne and just around the corner from my studio is Ouseburn Farm, a little green oasis in the middle of an urban industrial landscape. Entrance to the farm is free and there is a delightful little tea room serving homemade cakes and scones.

 

There are many residents to meet, pigs, goats, sheep - the Jacob variety, chickens, rabbits and guinea pigs,  some real personalities such as the rather famous Baboushka (she of the fiery locks) pictured below, spooning with a 'friend'... A Do not Disturb moment...

The farm is an absolute pleasure to visit, a breath of fresh (interesting aroma..) air, its a must for me, especially on a sunny spring day!
